Tuesday Morning, 10:00 – 11:30 AM: Yoga for Good Health and Longevity


This class will focus on asanas (poses) and pranyama (breathing techniques) to achieve and maintain strength and flexibility, counteract the effects of aging and reduce stress. We’ll also explore poses to relieve physical and emotional problems. Other topics will include energy flow through the chakras, visualization, use of mantras and meditation techniques.

Wednesday Evening, 5:30 – 7:00 PM: Continuing Yoga


This is a more energetic class, using a vinyasa style, where the poses are linked together in a continuous flow; we will also take apart the flow with some focus on proper alignment of the poses; includes pranyama (breathing techniques), relaxation and meditation. Good for people with at least a moderate level of physical fitness.

Thursday Morning, 10:00 – 11:30 AM: Yoga for Good Health and Longevity

Sally Van Vlecks, RYT

(Registered Yoga Teacher) the co-director of the Neahtawanta Center and one of the innkeepers at the Neahtawanta Inn. She has practiced and taught yoga for 30 years, and is certified as a yoga teacher through the White Lotus Foundation in Santa Barbara, California. Most recently, she completed Levels I and II of the Para Yoga Teacher Training.
