Join us for a fun filled evening of locally grown fare and wine. Tour the Boathouse Restaurants own Malem Farms. Malem farms has been featured locally in Edible Grand Traverse, Regionally in the Detroit Free Press and Nationally this past July in Family Circle Magazine. The evening goes as follows:

6:00pm - meet at Boathouse restaurant for a beverage and hop on the bus and we will go up the road just 1 mile to Malem Farms for a tour, appetizer and champagne from Bowers Harbor Vineyard. 
7:00pm - get back on the bus and go to Bowers Harbor Vineyard for a vitaculture tour and some wine (only a 1/4 mile away.)
7:30 back to the Boathouse for 3 courses of local fare (most of it from Malem farms)

It’s an idyllic scene that could easily be in Tuscany or Provence, but luckily for you, it’s right here in Northern Michigan! Hosted by the Boathouse Restaurant at neighboring Bowers Harbor Vineyard on Old Mission Peninsula, Dining in the Vines has earned a reputation as one of the most unique dining experiences in the region – not to be missed by anyone who loves great food, great wine, and fun.

Picture a warm, sultry evening in late summer: Nestled among rows of leafy grapevines adorned with tiny twinkling lights, long wooden tables are exquisitely set with candles, white linen, fine china, and crystal glassware. Soft candlelight glimmers as the lively conversation of your table-mates fills the air. Intoxicating aromas swirl around you as you sip fine wine and watch a five-course gourmet meal being prepared beside you at an outdoor kitchen by a white-coated master chef.

The anticipation of an unforgettable night unfolding is almost palpable…

The evening begins with a Sparkling Wine Reception complete with bubbles and gourmet cheese and meat boards. Then we will guide diners through each intriguing course and the complementary wine that accompanies each flavorful dish.
